Giovanni D. Alingog
Serial entrepreneur Giovanni Alingog created the first Filipino-made motorcycle design and registered the first Filipino-owned motorcycle manufacturing company with the Board of Investments in the year 2000 at only twenty-nine years old.
With experience as the managing director of the Philippine Rural Banking Corporation, one of the largest rural banks in the country, and as the Chief Finance Officer of Ropali Corporation a leading motorcycle distributor, Mr. Alingog founded Glovax Biotech Corporation in 2003.
He was awarded a Young Achiever Award by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2006 for being a successful serial entrepreneur at the age of thirty-three. After vaccinating 110,000 individuals for free, he was awarded as the Most Outstanding CPA in Community Service in 2011 while also being recognized as the Outstanding Rotary Club President in the same year. The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants once again awarded him as its Entrepreneur of the Year in 2014.
A panelist for the Asian Development bank and for the Impact Investment exchange in Singapore, he is now a regular resource and inspirational speaker in many esteemed universities of the country, and is a sought after in investor and entrepreneur events, as well as in awards nights, both locally and abroad.
He graduated with honors from San Beda College in 1996 and is now happily married to a pediatrician.
He contributes his business expertise and philanthropy to Grand Smart Holding Corporation by helping keep it geared towards its core of improving lives and living conditions through its investments.
